About me

I am a writer, speaker, and coach, but most of all, I am a mother. I have four children and 12 grandchildren. My parenting journey began rough, but as I progressed, along with my husband, we discovered what worked and what didn't. We have a mixed marriage and have lived in four countries. I am from Utah, married a Polynesian boy, and lived 36 of our 53 years in the South Pacific. That is where I learned emotional intelligence. It is inherent in their culture and has been missing in my childhood and teen years. I am so blessed to be close to all of my children and attribute that to the place they were raised and the people who loved them through all of those years. My aim is to share what I learned about emotional intelligence and how it improves your life with as many people as I can.

We have traveled to Egypt, Italy, India, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Canada, France, China, Hong Kong, Scotland, Denmark, England, Fiji, Samoa, New Zealand, and Australia.

We lived in Tonga 13 years, American Samoa 2 years, New Zealand 2 months, and Hawaii 21 years. The rest was in Utah.
